That's All I'm Saying Update
A lot of people have been asking about the status of That's All I'm Saying and if I'll be continuing it. Unfortunately, due to the lack of time I've had, I haven't had a chance to really think about working on it. While it's a relatively simple thing to put together, it still requires time to write and edit.

On top of that, with everything else I'm working on for AT4W, I'm actually BEHIND on my comics reading and have a stack of at least twenty comics I haven't had a chance to read yet from the past month or two. And even then, there isn't much to say about the stuff I'm reading beyond what I've already said before.

Is the series dead? Eh, I don't like to say that, but I want to focus my efforts on stuff like History of Power Rangers or other shows than taking a day to look at my pull list. I may still do an episode if I have something I'd like to say on a subject, but otherwise it's unlikely you'll be seeing anything any time soon, sorry to say.


Our hero ladies and gentlemen, what a lazy fuck ! It's relatively simple but he has no time to do it and worst than that he "the specialist" has nothing further to say and want to focus on "stuff" like the fucking History of Power Rangers !!! 


Linkara is dead, Lewis is dead too, Atop the fourth Wall has no place in my life anymore beyond kicking the living dead horse. That spot on the bloggersphere is a Corporate Monkey, nothing else.

Letters from solitary confinement reveal DWI man's despair

A man arrested for driving while intoxicated and then forced into solitary confinement for two years tried to get help by writing to the jail's nurse, but the only response he got was a dose of sedatives, his lawyer said.
Stephen Slevin, 57, was arrested in August 2005 in New Mexico’s Dona Ana County, charged with aggravated driving while under the influence and possession of a stolen vehicle, although Slevin maintains the car was lent to him by a friend. On Tuesday, a federal jury in Sante Fe awarded him $22 million in damages for enduring inhumane conditions in the Dona Ana County jail, which he emerged from "hollow," Matt Coyte, his lawyer, told msnbc.com on Wednesday.


Slevin had one medical examination after being arrested and was labeled suicidal, his lawyer said. He was jailed in lieu of posting a $40,000 bond.
“They put him in a padded cell for three days, but they never give him any treatment; their policy is to then just put them in solitary” if there are mental health issues, Coyte told msnbc.com Wednesday.


Coyte described Slevin in court documents as suffering with lifelong mental illness. He told msnbc.com that at the time of his arrest, Slevin had been depressed, and was borrowing a friend’s car because he wanted to get out of Las Cruces, N.M., where he had been living at the time.
He was physically healthy, but desperate to get treatment for his depression that he had been suffering with prior to being in solitary confinement - a cell with no natural light that prisoners are in 23 hours a day, although often times, guards failed to even grant Slevin his one hour of daily recreation time, his lawyer told msnbc.com.
Slevin sent more than a dozen letters to the jail nurse starting days after he was arrested, NBC affiliate KOB.com reported.


“I have not slept in days,” says one letter from Sept. 4, 2005, a couple weeks into solitary confinement. “I’m in a deep depression.” The letter also mentions his lack of appetite.
His mental decline
Two months later, KOB.com reported, Slevin wrote a letter again pleading for help, saying, “My dreams have been both weird and bizarre.”
By the end of November 2005, he wrote, “I’m afraid to close my eyes.”
Coyte, his lawyer, told KOB that if Slevin got any response at all, it was just to up his sedatives.
“He referred to a ‘Dr. Don’ [in the letters],” Coyte told KOB.com. “There was no doctor looking after him. There was a nurse, the nurse practitioner.”
But the so-called nurse practitioner only had a bachelor’s degree in psychology and no actual medical qualifications, KOB reported.
After a few months, Slevin gave up, writing: “I don’t know how much longer I can go on.”


“That was when he fell into a delirium,” Coyte told KOB.com.
Meanwhile, correspondence with the outside world tapered off as well, Coyte told msnbc.com on Thursday.
“His sister was writing him letters and sending him money,” Coyte said. “She thought he would get out soon enough; she would send him small amounts of money every few weeks.”
But when she didn’t hear back from Slevin, she became concerned. She called the jail, Coyte said, but was not given much information.
“She had no idea the condition he was in,” he said. “She is on the other side of the country with limited means. She wrote letters and he responded at the beginning, but then he lost touch with her. If your family member doesn’t write back, you may feel like they don’t want to talk you anymore; it wouldn’t cross your mind that something like this was happening.”
It wouldn’t be until months later that Slevin’s sister, whose name and location Coyte did not give, found out what her brother was going through: Forced to pull out his own tooth because he was denied access to a dentist, he told reporters on Tuesday. Toenails curling around his foot because they were so long. Basically forgotten about in his dark cell for more than 22 months.
"[Jail guards were] walking by me every day, watching me deteriorate," Slevin told KOB.com. "Day after day after day, they did nothing, nothing at all, to get me any help."
Slevin’s sister and other family members actively fought for his release near the end of his detainment once they became aware of his plight, Coyte told msnbc.com Thursday.


“It was her and his aunt and various other family members who were calling legislators, calling county commissioners, saying, ‘Where’s my brother?’” he said.
'Deplorable' conditions
The answer, for most of his 22-month detainment, was that he was in “deplorable” conditions of his solitary “pod,” court documents state, except for a 14-day period in May 2007, when he was sent to New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute in Las Vegas, N.M., for a psychiatric review. He had lost a third of his body weight by that point, documents say, and had bed sores and a fungal infection on his skin.


“As your insanity builds, some people holler or throw feces out their cell doors,” Coyte said Wednesday. “Others rock back and forth under a blanket for a year or more, which is what my client did.”
At the Behavioral Health Institute, Slevin was able to shower and to shave his beard, which had grown long and scraggly during his time in solitary, Coyte said. His mood improved. But after two weeks there, he was sent back to his solitary pod in jail for another month, at which point his mental state deteriorated to the point where he was deemed unfit to participate in his defense, and all charges against him were ultimately dismissed. He was released on June 25, 2007.
It's not clear why he was sent back to solitary after his stint in the mental health institute.

Dona Ana County officials were tight-lipped about the case, refusing to answer questions about whether any jail employees were reprimanded or fired over Slevin's treatment.
"We do not discuss personnel issues," Jess Williams, Dona Ana County's public information director, told msnbc.com on Wednesday.
Williams also wouldn't comment on whether the $22 million the county was ordered to pay would come from taxpayer money, saying only, "Dona Ana County will appeal the verdict."
Coyte sued the Dona Ana County Board of County Commissioners, the County Detention Center, and the jail director and former medical director in December 2008. According to court documents, the county jail’s former medical director, Daniel Zemek prescribed “complicated psychotropic medications” to Slevin without ever seeing him, and renewed prescriptions for him for at least 10 months without an in-person visit. Zemek left the county jail but an adequate replacement for him wasn’t provided, the court documents allege, so jail director Chris Barela continued to have Zemek prescribe medication to Slevin, despite not treating him.
John W. Caldwell, the defendants’ attorney, did not return a phone call from msnbc.com on Thursday.
Coyte, Slevin’s attorney, said greed on the county’s part was partially to blame.
“Talk to the [Dona Ana] County Commissioners who were around in 2000 to 2004 who knew this stuff was going on, and didn’t care,” he said. “Another side to this case is this jail was built to make money housing federal detainees. This is a border town. There are a lot of federal detainees from immigration issues, and the jail charges the federal government a particular amount of money for each detainee.”

Slevin was a county inmate.

“Federal inmates got better care than state inmates,” he said. “There would be better psychiatric care for the federal inmates than for the state or county inmates.”

Slevin will take lifelong medication for his PTSD, although he continues to have support from his sister, Coyte said. Court records show he now lives in Virginia Beach, Va.

Probably, i don't care that much for comic books made under the Age of Stupidity except for the few that stand above the crap like Frank Miller, Garth Ennis, Howard Chaykin, Brian Michael Bendis, Joe Quesada, Jeph Loeb, etc... you already know most of the wasted ink and colored toilet paper comes from DC Comics, nothing new on that.

*I* have been writing reviews exactly the same way as I did now as I did when I started. My editing process has improved, my timing has improved, but none of these things were changes that occurred within the last few episodes.

If you don't like an episode, if you didn't think it was funny, just friggin' SAY THAT. I am tired of sparring with you about your posting style and I am tired of reading through your drivel about who I am. You don't post critiques, you post nonsense. And then you go and make a second account pretending to be someone else when it is most clearly you. You criticize what hours of the day I spend *MY* life and go off on random tangents instead of just posting like anyone else around here. You'll notice I don't penalize CalvinCat when he says he doesn't think the Wonder Woman pilot is all that bad. You know why? Because his posts make sense and he's simply expressing a dissenting opinion.

And you STILL post in comments that I have to reject because they have nothing to do with anything. I have warned you REPEATEDLY to knock it off. I have allowed posts through that I could barely get through just because I didn't feel like arguing. I have been exemplary in my patience and I have had enough.

Sake Mangusto, every post you make from now on will be rejected. Completely. You may continue to make posts at your discretion if you wish, but until such time as I feel you are capable of staying on topic, of actually articulating your thoughts be they in agreement or dissenting, nothing you post will go through. No, it is Deutsch. ^^ Hard to write the original word, with the letters in the right order, I can understand that. I couldn`t write the puerto rican name for the puerto-rican language either.

Well, there are actually some hints, that the character of Linkara had a bit changed and now is “back” – and, honestly, you cannot blame him for thinking that, when you take into consideration the twists and changes the character went through. I mean – series-wise it would make a hell lot of sense, because of all the “pollo-is-downloaded-somewhere”-Stuff, that you probably will adress to in a few weeks.

If this month is completely unrelated to the overall plot, then Sake exaggerated, but plot-wise … okay, in reality, there is such thing as “own opinion”, and when I fail to find the Top 15-Jokes funny, or cannot agree with you on Wondy, that is my own opinion – maybe you should borrow the sentence from SFDebris “I am just a comic-reader with an oppinion”. ^^
No, I am kidding.

Lewis, I don’t want to beat around the bush – I think, you are doing a great job, and there might be some minor things, where I say “that is not my view”, but mostly it is.
There is one thing, I am a bit disappointed, although that is a too strong word… I think, the reviews of Blackest Night and Brightest Day would be a field day.
But, I know too, that these comics will be reviewed, IF they will be reviewed , in – dunno… at least not now.

But – I am looking forward at the new critique next Monday. Sounds like… something headscratching, eh? ^^

Oh, absolutely not, man! If I were in your place I would've banned him the very first time he said something meaningless and stupid. Keep that ban ironclad and airtight, and don't let his alternate personalities, like the corrupt preacher who apparently built a chruch on reviewing reviewers, slip in either. Because he isn't just annoying you, he's annoying the universe at large.

Ok, now that i had time to cool down and digest the stream of events lets present the facts and nothing else.
I could use another so called "alternate personality" to wear as a mask and defend my self but i won't, my real self and the Captain share a lot of qualities but cowardness is not one of them and when i create the Reverend was more for my self amusement and mockery of religions institutions than anything else, the only person fooled by that was Jarkes, he is probably young.

And the next at January 24, 2012 4:00 AM, two hours later addressed to another fellow commentator making humorous comments about Mr. Lovhaug most recent complying behaviour, suddenly at January 24, 2012 4:31 AM, half an hour later all hell break loose for no particular reason since :


a) my question was honest, polite and civil;
b) the previous comment made by Mr. Lovhaug about  "haven't found anything particularly aggravating" on my own most recent comments was apparently erased and forgotten from his mind;
c) and Mr. Lovhaug repeat himself complaining about something that was apparently settle down since ages ago and re-applying a penalty that was already being establish in case of recidivism;


To keep things short my closure arguments : you said in your own words Lewis, you did haven't found anything particularly aggravating on my comments therefore "WHAT THE HELL ???".


I made a simple question and next I engage in conversation with Calvin, nothing on that chat between two friends was directly or indirectly addressed to you even considering i was commenting about you in a humorous non offensive way in most if not all western hemisphere and you reacted like i had put your house on fire.You over-reacted, your own previous statement before my comment made me completely innocent and your repeated behavior start to be very closer to bullying.


Are you sure you want to proceed in my condemnation after this facts exposed ? And exactly what i was able to do between 1:07AM and 4:31AM to change the evidences against me ?
Because most of this time i was sleeping and unable to comment anything beyond what is posted and approved up there.


Don't forget we live in completely different time zones.

Sake is still attempting to post and has deconstructed my argument, mentioning that earlier in the day that I had said I had not found anything TOO aggravating. I am still not letting his posts through, but I will respond to him since I know he is reading.

Just because it wasn't anything that ticked me off TOO much doesn't mean there wasn't stuff that was still annoying me. However, this pattern of behavior has to stop and I should have put an end to it a while ago. Sake, I know people who have quirky posting styles. One that comes to mind is Darkdriver from the Spoony forums, a guy who will sometimes post with an alternate female personality in his posts for humorous intent. It's not always the funniest, but he always keeps it on topic. Another that comes to mind is from Gail Simone's forum who will make posts always responds to people in the style of writing a letter saying, say, "Dear Linkara," but again, he always stays on topic.

Your posting style has frustrated me since day one, but I've given you plenty of leeway to change and warnings about the content of your posts. On occasion you will make THREE POSTS IN A ROW to say absolutely nothing. Did I overreact in this circumstance? Possibly. But frankly I have grown tired of giving warnings and I have decided to do something about it. If you think ill of me after this, that's perfectly fine, but as I said, I'm not allowing your posts through until I feel like you understand what was annoying me so much about them and take active steps to change the way you act around here. If you want tangible goals, allow me to set them:

1. One name, one commenter. You have repeatedly said that you will retreat from the computer for a period of time and not post in order to calm things down. You don't do so, often posting again in other comments sections right afterwards, and in the case of your latest one, you instead posted under a different identity. You want to say something? You say it as yourself.

2. Keep it on topic. An occasional joke post is fine, but there's humor that makes sense and then there's whatever the heck you were doing. I post and approve comments at what seem like odd hours to you because my sleep schedule is often all over the place, a consequence of working from home and deciding when I go to sleep and when I wake up and when I get work done. And even then, I am under no obligation to explain myself in that regard.

4. Do not hurl insults at people who disagree with you. Admittedly, some people around here are guilty of that, too, but if that happens, I don't want you to respond in kind - if a situation is getting bad *I* will deal with it.

I think that's a good place to start and we'll see how things go from there.

I have to admit, I was a bit concerned, that my „Oh, I am rated down to Triple C Plus”-Joke would be a bit senseless, it was just something, that looked like a good opportunity there.

They turned a character who had a rich personality and love of life and those around her, someone bristling with emotion and compassion for all those she knew and cared about into a person who lacks emotional depth, engages in heavy amounts of sex for no other reason than to titillate male readers, cannot form emotional connections with people, the memory of the proverbial goldish, and lacks love and compassion.

Well, don't worry about it - as I said in the first TAIS, I can deal with the big expense of the 52 for the month, but I'm not going to buy EVERY ONE of them regularly. I'm just getting the first issues of them all to give people advice on purchases.

That's shenanigans !!! How can i trust your advice despite the fact i may disagree with you if you don't actually read it the whole series before cancellation ? If you don't buy it at least read it, there is no shame in downloading and deleted after reading, Red Hood and The Outlaws don't deserve to be burn if you don't read beyond the first issue. You get yourself in labor Mister and now you must go all the way through until the end and never forget IronLiz, she can always teach you how to push this book out of your system before it start to get into your guts. Hope you don't mind a C-section if you need it, no painkillers in the world will be able to help you if the Outlaws really deserves to be burn.

A- you can review better than that;
B- the review was inconsistent with the brain below the hat;
and C- when you do reviews you are usually good but when you review pissed off you are better;


In my opinion you was not fair with Starfire the same way you was with Action Comics' Superman on the issue of character development, maybe Grant's Superman became his personal response to Miller's Hobo Steve but i really doubt Scott Lobdell degenerate Starfire into some kind of Debby Does DC&U.

you Sir are being unnecessarily and unusually kind on your TAIS, things are meant to be burn at this show despite the fact we still are at the first issues and it's ok if the TAIS are just a preview for what might be burn in the actual show in the future but your ability to use the force, the ranger medalion, the hat or whatever you use is clearly deminished and out focus, please give more time to your self in the future to process all plot holes and misdirections in this comics. You still are the best in what you do but like Bart Allen's character behavior in my opinion you are going too fast for what should be a wit thinking reviewer.

My opinion about Red Hood and Teen Titans didn't change, Red Hood was the kickass and Teen Titans the disappointment in my opinion and i have mixed feeling about disagree with you on that but that's ok and expected because neither you or me are infallible. Maybe each logical thinking lines must be reviewed and like i said repeated times i think you should slow down your TAIS and give more time to "digest" the events before giving your opinion, you must not be in a hurry just because of applied pressure, the only ones under pressure are DC executives.


Aquaman, Flash was flawless stories and your review was faithful to them despite personal tastes concerning the Flash, Superboy was awesome until they revealed his first mission : "KILL THE TEAM TITANS!?!?" Really ??? WHY ??? Those guys can mix human and kryptonian DNA and make clones, WHY DID THEY CARE ABOUT TEENAGERS WHO ARE NOT EVEN IN A GROUP YET ??? -in my better Spoony impersonation- COME ON!!! For a secret organization called N.O.W.H.E.R.E. you are starting to act pretty stupid, the book was near perfection until present his Achiles' heel, really Lobdell it's your time to slow down.


About Voodoo, you are a kid yet, you have a gorgeous girlfriend, you are an internet celebrity of some sort, you past Voodoo, did i mention you are on a relationship ? me too but like i said on twitter i am on Jason Todd's league and my fiancee don't care what i read unless of course she read it with me and we do that a lot at convenient places at convenient times when no one is around but at some point we just stop reading and start doing something else, speak in favor of Voodoo ( or Starfire for that matter) may ruined your reputation and nobody needs another Pewee Herman.

I am 24 years old, I hardly qualify as a "kid." I do that with Harvey on Atop the Fourth Wall because of the relative age of Harvey's character. And I really don't appreciate the implication that there's an ulterior motive about impressing Liz by rejecting a book that's almost entirely stripteases or a vapid sextoy version of a character that I enjoyed.


Or did you miss how I'm a feminism and have spoken out about this bull before? There is no need to have a book like Voodoo #1. I have always been perplexed by books focused on T&A when we full well know they aren't going to show anything and frankly it's further boggling that they're tyring to make comic books into wanking material when there are artists out on the web who will gladly draw popular superheroes in porn situations, along with catering to every fetish conceivable on top of that. It's a superhero book, not an issue of playboy.

You seem to mostly have issues with reading comprehension, actually.


It's not about her having sex. There are several comic book characters that do, and they are fine. It's the way she's written to do so.


As a female fan, this was the last straw, DC won't see my money anymore. I'll instead go buy a japanese manga. In which characters have sex, too. They're just not written this horribly sexist.


Twenty years ago, friggin Sailor Moon handled sex better than DC comics does.

Truth must be said and in general i admit i can agree with you say most of the time Lewis but there are those times when you drop the ball. In this TAIS so far i already read it Action Comics, Detective Comics, Man At War, Hawk And Dove, Green Arrow, Batwing, Justice League International and now i start my reading on Animal Man. Your reviews are good and amazingly accured for most of them with exceptions for Hawk and Dove, Green Arrow, Batwing and JLI, you have the right for your own opinion but you let past a few things here and there in those books and the worst case scenario is JLI and i quote : "YOU SHOULD BE BUYING THIS BOOK! IT'S DAMN GOOD!" Really ??? Are you sure you read the same JLI i did ? Because if is that the case lets go and check a few things.

JLI #01 (2011) The book start with Andre Briggs head of United Nation intelligence (played by voice actor Brad Jones thanks to my imagination) trying and succeeding to sale for the U.N. Security Concil the idea of a Super Hero Response Action Team working under the flag of the U.N. representing the greatest nations of Earth, the problems are this :

*everybody in the whole world (according to Briggs) is underfunded and lacking resources and when he talks about every government, law enforcement agency and security forces in the world is hard to believe the United Nations is the only remaining organization able to take money out of their own asses to fund and sponsor their own superhero team;

*his brilliant idea : assemble his own team "UNIQUELY EQUIPPED TO OVER COME THOSE ISSUES", what that means if somebody asks :

- they work pro-bono;
- they bring their own gear or borrow from someone else;
- they pay for their own U.N. bumper stickers;
- no privilegies, if you park in the wrong spot you pay the bill by your self;
- don't tell this to any of them because as we saw coming next :

*The United Nations Security Council will not assume any responsability for their actions if they fail on their missions at any moment, if they win : "OUR HEROES LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!" if they fail : "JUSTICE WHO ??? WE NEVER HEARD ABOUT THEM!" Therefore :

- they are on their own to fight against threats everybody else is ill equipped to handle (like the average friendly neighbor had ilimited resources), so there it is the Official On And Off And On Again And Off Superhero Team who answer to no one except when the U.N. start to ask of course but just if they succeed.

DESERVE A RANT N°01 Part 2 A.K.A. "LINKARA WHAT A HELL WITH YOU ???"

And there comes the Rooster :

Booster Gold: team leader, PR expert, poster boy for several consumer products world wide and the bitch every PR pimp is looking for, the perfect puppet;

Ice, Fire and Vixen : because they are popular, not because there was any planning for this;

Red Rocket, August General In Iron and Godiva : because you go no where in the UN without Russia, China and England poster boys giving you support;

Guy Gardner : because he was the only one available, except of course for Kyle Rayner, John Stewart, Sinestro and any other Green Lantern responsible for the Sector 2814, i guess Andre was being racist or he ask the editor for their preferences;

Other were selected and rejected and some rejected even before selection because they were considered "WRONG???" at the time, go figured.

Greeted by his transvesti assistent Emerson Esposito they start assemble the Avengers, i mean, the JLI in the Hall of Justice an abandoned facility borrowed by the U.N. from local New York government who was previously using the place as a shelter for the homeless and some basement dwellers who was using the internet servers and broad band complex for hacking activities and wikileaks support.

Booster Gold arrives and ask about them, Briggs gives a short explanation and tell him to ignore them and he said "No, we can never ignore them, it's our job to prove them wrong!" you praise him Lewis you really did it and what our team leader and public relation expert did it next ?

"HE IGNORE THE PROTESTS! HE JUST GO TOGETHER WITH BRIGGS INSIDE THE BUILDING AND DID EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE HE SAID HE WOULD DO!" Good job Lewis, you praise and idiot and hypocrite * and where did come from the best phrase from this issue so far ? From Guy Gardner, apparently the most sane person in the room who say : "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FREAKING MINDS ?"

I tell you this Lewis when the person asking this is Guy Gardner something must be very very very wrong and i will never forget that every time you recommend something.

It's past page 16 already, Guy Gardner left the building and Booster Gold Assures us he never sponsored or had been sponsored by adult diapers, it's like see FilmBrain defend it self as nominated leader of anything. Meanwhile Godiva in two lines show to us why she is going to be the T&A main character, probable Booster Gold love interest and useless character with useless powers.

I admit is a Damn book and that's as far i can go, am i the only rational mind who thinks this boat will sank before even reach the proverbial iceberg ? Dan Jurgens is funny but he is not Keith Giffen, this team is trying to emulate the original Stormwatch mixing elements of the original JLI and failing misearbly at least for me, it's a guilty pleasure but deserves a rant, anything about deserving a RECOMMENDATION it's a little bit of a stretch, Lewis you drop the ball one yard behind the end zone and now you must start all over again back from your own end zone.

Continuing, Batman for no other reason than punishing himself try to argue with Gardner but he leaves, Briggs present for the team a jet borrow or more probably stolen from Green Arrow and without nobody noticing Batman does the favor nobody ask for it and drives or heroes into their first mission : rescue a UN research team missing in Peru - South America, thanks to FAA restrictions the plane made a flight from New York to Peru in at least 12 hours because they leave USA airspace at 10pm but arrive in Peru at 10 am flying around the world in the process, thanks the goddammn Batman. That or american writers and readers are national geographically impaired, they don't teach you anything about time zones in the school anymore ?

Anyway still there is a few eastern eggs for you in this issue Lewis, i can open them all alone can i ?

The Basement Dwellers explode the Hall of Justice with explosives stolen from a Blackhawks Storage Facility (did i mention the Blackhawks are the blackops TNG away team for the U.N.), so the place was borrowed from the city, security was non-existent and the building was actually made it with paper-mache because one bomb was enough for a raging inferno, meanwhile the team is attacked on site, Godiva shows how useless she can be and WHAT A HELL IS THAT SENTINEL DOING THERE ???? I knew DC Comics was going all Marvel with the New 52's but that's ridiculous.

Post Bottle Followed Down : Annoying character goes to you Lewis Lovhaug for be so smart and in some rare occasions like this so dumb that made a fool of your self and still remains fun. JLI #01 like i said is a guilty pleasure but not one worth to buy it.

Final Score for TAIS 9-8-11 so far is 7 out of 10, i didn't finish reading all 13 books on the list but is enough to say your only major mistake was JLI followed by a few minor threats that compromissed my faith in you a little bit.

Atop the Fourth Wall is probably the main reason why i restarted to read comic books again and has been a lot more fun since crap editors like those from DC Comics can't fooled me again, i wonder how they fooled you ?

Hawk And Dove #01

Liefeld is a minor problem on that book, Sterling Gates is the one who will mess things around on this book.

Why Dove can fly but Hawk don't ? Why everytime Hawk open his mouth i think about Hobo Steve talking ?

And Who had the briliant idea of give for Dove a boyfriend like Deadman ?

Selected by the Gods of War and Peace ? Was not originally two renegade Lords of Chaos and Order ?

I guess Sterling Gates never watch Superman trying to rescue a Boeing 747 on Superman Returns using the same way Dove use on the comic book and fails miserably, that plane should never be able to land safely.

And on Page 11 a lazy aftermath with a cop repeating everything we already knew it from the start.

And if Hawk a.k.a. New Hobo Steve was not enough the Avatar of Peace crash lands over a car and destroy it for no reason on page 14. Why ? She can or she can not fly ? And why her white dove symbol looks more like some kind of spider trying to bone her belly button ?

And if one Hobo Steve was not enough at the last page we meet Brownie Hawk, probably Hobo Steve's cousin.

The action is poor, the story looks like a dramedia, something better suit for a cartoon than a comic book, Sterling Gates is not Geof Johns and this comic will not last long this way.

Post Bottom Followed Up: Annoying Character goes to Hawk the New Hobo Steve who can drag all action of this comic into his existential personal black hole of "WHY,WHY MY BROTHER HAS TO DIE?"

Hawk and Dove so far is not worth reading or expending money, trying to re-sale and avoid it in the near future.

Clearly Loudly All We Say is an opinionated review of some comic books initially reviewed by Mr.Lewis Lovhaug - our former landlord and keeper of the multitransdimensional hub existent below the fourth wall which is connected to our basement in a loosely regular on-off-and on again basis - his own reviews knows as That's All I'm Saying or TAIS inspired a small group of basement dwellers known as "The Basement Dwellers Square Monthly 101" or B.D.S.M.101 for short to gather together on our communitorial basement and slideshow the comics in some sort of Mystery Science Fiction Theater 3000 fashion while making and recording our thoughts, comments and reactions about this specific kind of cultural entertainment and post the less offensive content on the web but :

"According to the Khitomer Accords each opinionated reviewer must respect the standards, fashion and personal tastes of each other therefore avoiding unnecessary confrontational, controversial, and other cons i can remember now (it's almost 8am here now) so the BDSM 101 will be restricted to my own blog and any CLAWS will be limited to give a rating about the suggested readings with opinions about them shortly addressing the issue in question as Awesome, Worth Reading, Idiotic and Deserve a Rant while the opinions given by Mr. Lovhaug about the same matters will be only rated as Accurate or Not despite any further detail to be considered in the future about any specific book. Each opinionated reviewer must be considered as a winner by themselves for sharing the common pains and joys of following the current comic book shows both appreciate so much."

Flashpoint #5 Sucks, it's Idiotic and the Review was Accurate as well really generous, DC should thank Lewis for stay professional opinionated, meanwhile the amateurs....(dramatic suspense tune);

Justice League #1, Poor Geof Johns, we don't know why DC keeps doing this kind of embarrassement to their artists and comic books, despite the fact this was probably planned and written six months ago the book is Idiotic and probably should deserve a rant, the Review again was Accurate and Mr.Lovhaug remains an inspiration for us to be professionals but really ranting our amateurishness out loud will be more fun than keep a gentleman's stand. It's everybody Superman now ? Because that punch should really be killed even The Goddamned Batman, if we want to see a brawl we go for the WWE.

Again Thank you for Mr. Lewis Lovhaug for be an inspiration as well an Officer and a Gentleman despite any visible military rank. (that TOS' Captains yellow shirt is honorary right ?)

Action Comics #1 /Accurate Reviewed, the book looks Idiotic; 

Detective Comics #1 /Accurate Reviewed, it's Worth Reading but eewww; 

Men at War #1 / Weird Book, Accurate Review and the crew barely understand what was going on there and we are the guy who love this kind of story, can't agree in what to say about that yet; 

Hawk and Dove #1 / Weird Review, Ranting about Liefeld is redundant, Not Flawless TAIS, the book is Idiotic and Deserve the Rant; 

Green Arrow #1 / Accurate Review and Awesome book, the kind of thing the Smallville's Green Arrow could be; 

Batwing #1 / Accurate Review and Awesome book, was a delightful surprise; 

Justice League International #1 / the one to be always remembered as "THAT BOOK.." (dramatic pause) Not Accurate, we respectfully disagree with Mr.Lovhaug and will give the Deserved Rant for this elsewhere despite the fact we already did it here in the past present of our past future (try to see this through J.J.Abrahms kind of logical thinking) in order to avoid a future past war that never happen in this non-mirror current reality; 

Animal Man #1 / Weird Book, Accurate Review, Really Creepy and we stay with that; 

Next Swamp Thing #01, Stormwatch #01, Static Shock #01, OMAC #01, and Batgirl #01, the crew once again thanks Mr. Lovhaug for his kindness and patience and hope we can do it better in the present future of the current past (someone please cut Lost from Hold's diet please).

Angel & Faith #1 The Squad loves Joss Whedon but we don't have time on schedule for more vampire, brings us more Firefly please but since this a retroactive comment i guess we must ask hold for a Square Slideshow, No comment about the accuracy or not of the Taisoreer yet;

All-Star Western #1 On Hold and when the report says on Hold means our shared copy is on Hold's house waiting to be read when we also complaint about that retroactively;

The Flash #1 Kick Ass Again, Awesome Reading but maybe could be some more, the Taisoreer kick ass again;

Some teams are playing this wishy-washy reboot better than others and some really doesn't look to care about. There are books for fine tastes and there are books for the raw mob as well those weird books with slow setting.

That's something yet to be seen if DC of course don't running away from foretold dropping sales that will come before they pulled the next p.r. gimmick card out of their pockets.

 That commented i liked Green Arrow #1 and Batwing #1, just liked, Justice League International #1 made me laugh my ass off as you can see on Deserve a Rant but there are nothing on that TAIS list that i really love despite my eagerness to play my side show. Swamp Thing was weird reading, Stormwatch sucks, i don't care about Static Shock and Batgirl keep give the feeling for Why? For the love of God Why? with a mixed twist. 

Eventually i will read Omac but that's all i have to add to discussion that may be or not worthy it to say.
